In 2022, Lush was voted the best Gay Bar in Minnesota by the Star Tribune and has also been voted in the top 20 for the best drag brunch IN THE NATION by Yelp! Lush Lounge & Theater has been featured in a variety of both digital and media outlets following its reopening in late 2021. The new ownership team includes Andrew Rausch and Jared Lawrence. Rausch brings twenty years in the hospitality ind

ustry and thirteen years performing as Crystal Belle. Lawrence owns and manages multiple businesses and has performed on stage for the last fourteen years as Nikki Vixxen. The pair will oversee operations and programming of all entertainment. Rausch and Lawrence have partnered with Jennifer Lueck, of Betty & Earl’s, a restaurant specializing in homemade biscuits, to purchase LUSH and its 11,000 square-foot building on Central Avenue in Northeast Minneapolis. Betty & Earl's has been enjoyed by celebrities such as Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman. The menu at LUSH will, of course, feature Betty & Earl’s signature biscuits in a variety of sandwiches and sweets alongside other offerings.
