Guitarist and composer Steve Peplin, of Helenville, WI, has performed and recorded with a wide range of artists, including Art Davis, Mel Rhyne, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Howard Levy, War, De La Buena, Yellow Ostrich, and many others.

Milwaukee guitarist Neil Davis teaches jazz guitar at the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, co-founded West End Conservatory and Milwaukee Jazz Vision, and serves as an accompanist for UW–Milwaukee’s dance department. A sought-after performer, he leads his own quartet and co-leads the Davis-Peplin Duo and Black Cow Duo, a Steely Dan tribute.

Atlanta native Alvin Cobb, Jr. is a Chicago-based drummer, composer, producer, and photographer praised by the Chicago Tribune for his lyrical playing. A graduate of Florida State University and Northwestern University, he has performed with Chance the Rapper, Patricia Barber, Sherman Irby, Victor Goines, and Dee Alexander. He has earned national recognition through NPR, touring, and acclaimed recordings. The trio’s 2024 debut, You’ll Need This Later, was featured by NPR, JazzFM UK, Worldwide FM, and named to Bandcamp’s Best Albums of 2024. His sophomore album, The Chase and The Runaway, arrives in 2026.
