Imagine walking into a bar… and being denied a drink — or kicked out — just because someone thought you were gay. That wasn’t long ago. That was everyday life. In 1966, activists stood up and said ENOUGH — sparking the historic Julius’ Sip-In and helping change the future of LGBTQ+ rights. TGIF is back! Friday, March 27th, 5:30-7:30 the Milwaukee LGBT community center is hosting their TGIF at Fluid! TGIF is thier monthly happy hour social. It’s a casual, drop-in style event that brings together community members for networking, connection, and fun in a relaxed atmosphere. Come and learn more about the great things they are doing in our community. Simply show up and enjoy the time with new or current friends. Bring some cash to participate in their raffle to win awesome prizes from local businesses.
