Alpha League – Match 10 Sports Report

The race tightened up in Match 10 as several players made big moves and the battle for the top spot is far from settled. With only a handful of points separating the leaders, every rack matters as the season heads toward the finish.

🏆 Top of the Table

* Jeff Krieg holds onto first place with 401 points, becoming the first player to crack the 400-point mark.
* Jim Wuertz sits just 2 points back at 399, putting serious pressure on the leader.
* Gary Turner remains in striking distance with 395, while Zander Wigginton (393) and Bryan Beatty (390) round out a crowded top five.

Only 11 points separate first from fifth, making this one of the closest leaderboards of the session.

🔥 Mid-Pack Madness

The middle of the standings remains a traffic jam:

* Bear (387)
* Tom Russell (380)
* Scott Doyle (378)
* Holli Grant (377)
* Kevin Clerkin (373)
* Jason Priest (372)
* Tom Horsman (371)

One strong night could launch any of these players into the top ten.

🎯 Controlled Chaos Watch

Ashley Panaretos climbed to 355 points, sitting just behind Brian Wood (360) and within reach of a significant jump in the standings. With several players packed tightly together in the 340s and 350s, a hot streak could quickly change the leaderboard picture.

🌶️ Spicy Call-Outs

* The 400 Club: Jeff Krieg becomes the first player to break the 400-point barrier.
* Photo Finish Alert: Only 2 points separate first and second.
* Dead Heat: Angie Bartley and Jay Lambert are tied at 368.
* Biggest Logjam: Seven players are separated by only 10 points between 368 and 378.
* Danger Zone: The fight for top ten positioning is getting crowded, with players bunched together from 371–380.

👀 Players to Watch Next Match

* Jim Wuertz – Can he steal the top spot?
* Gary Turner – Lurking just 6 points off the lead.
* Holli Grant – Quietly hanging around the edge of the top tier.
* Ashley Panaretos – Positioned to make a move with one strong performance.

Alpha League – Week 7 Sports Report 🎱

Week 7 is officially in the books, and the Alpha League standings are tightening up heading into the second half of the session. Every rack matters now, and the leaderboard is starting to separate into clear tiers of contenders, dark horses, and players looking to make a late-season charge.

At the top, Jim Wuertz has taken over first place with 243 points, barely edging out Jeff Krieg at 242. That single-point margin has turned the race for the top spot into a weekly heavyweight fight. One rough night could flip everything.

Right behind them, Jay Lambert and Tom Russell are locked together at 233, with Gary Turner breathing down their necks at 232. The top five are stacked tighter than we’ve seen all season, and nobody can afford an off week.

One of the biggest stories this week is the continued rise of Angie Bartley. Sitting at 228, she’s firmly planted in the upper tier and proving she belongs in the conversation every single week. Quiet consistency has become dangerous consistency.

Zander Wigginton and Holli Grant continue to hold strong positions near the top 10, while Bryan Beatty and Hunter McDevitt remain tied at 222, setting up what could become one of the best internal battles on the board.

Meanwhile, the middle of the standings has become absolute chaos.

Kevin Clerkin (219), Bear (218), and Tom Horsman (216) are all hovering close enough to make a serious climb with one breakout week. Jason Priest, Scott Doyle, and Nate Sandman continue trading punches in the tightly packed 210 range where momentum can swing fast.

And then there’s the most dangerous spot in the league right now: the “one hot week away” group.

Brian Wood (207), Philip Burden (205), Mike Baker (203), and Ashley Panaretos (202) are all within striking distance of a major move. Ashley continues to quietly hang around the middle pack despite the brutal competition this season. With the standings compressed the way they are, one strong night could launch her several spots instantly.

The battle at 202 between Ashley and Nicholas Holsclaw is another one to watch moving forward.

Further down the standings, players like Steve Gravatte, Naomi Scherzinger, and Tim Hardin are still capable of playing spoiler, especially against top-table opponents trying to protect their position.

Player to Watch 👀

Gary Turner – 232

Gary has slowly stalked the leaderboard all season without a ton of noise, but now sits just 11 points off first place. He’s within range, playing steady, and looks poised to capitalize if the leaders slip even slightly.

Spicy Call-Outs 🌶️

* The top of the standings is officially a knife fight. One point separating first and second this late into the session is brutal.
* The 210–225 range may actually be more dangerous than the top table right now. There are too many players capable of ripping off a huge week.
* Ashley sitting at 202 feels like a “don’t look now” situation. Hanging around the middle while others beat each other up can suddenly become a top-10 run.
* Nobody wants to see Bear on a hot streak. That’s all we’ll say about that.

Week 8 is shaping up to be huge. The pressure is climbing, the standings are tightening, and every missed shot feels heavier now. Alpha League season is officially entering the dangerous part.

🟢 Alpha League – Week 5 Recap

Week 5 tightened the race at the top and showed just how deep this league really is. The leaderboard is starting to separate into tiers, and every rack is clearly starting to matter.

🏆 Top of the Table

Jim Wuertz (191) holds strong at #1, continuing an impressive run and setting the pace for the league. He’s creating a noticeable gap and putting pressure on the field to catch up.

Tom Russell (184) is staying within striking distance, keeping things interesting at the top and proving he’s not letting the leader run away with it.

⚔️ The Battle for 3rd

Things get tight here:

* Jeff Krieg (176)
* Gary Turner (176)

A dead tie makes this one of the most competitive spots on the board. One strong week could break it wide open.

Right behind them:

* Angie Bartley (174) continues to quietly stay in contention, showing consistency week after week.

🔥 Mid-Pack is a War Zone

From about 6th through 14th, it’s an absolute dogfight:

* Zander Wigginton (171)
* Bryan Beatty (169)
* Tom Horsman (167)
* Jay Lambert (166)
* Kevin Clerkin (166)
* Bear (165)
* Brian Wood (163)
* Jason Priest (162)

This group is stacked, and movement here is happening fast. A single hot night could jump someone 4–5 spots easily.

👀 Climbing & Holding Ground

* Holli Grant (158) and Hunter McDevitt (157) are hanging around and staying within reach of the main pack.
* Philip Burden (154) and Naomi Scherzinger (154) are locked together—another tie to watch.

💪 Grinding It Out

* Ashley Panaretos (153) is right in the mix, staying competitive and within striking distance of a big jump. This is exactly where a momentum shift can happen.
* Nate Sandman (152) is right there as well—this range is primed for shakeups next week.

📉 Lower Table, Still Dangerous

Even toward the bottom, there are players capable of making noise:

* Nicholas Holsclaw (149)
* Scott Doyle (148)
* Steve Gravatte (147)
* Mike Baker (146)
* Tim Hardin (142)

And rounding things out:

* Erik Hohl (137)
* AJ Hayes (128)
* Idean Taghizadeh (126)

Don’t let the scores fool you—this is where spoiler matches come from.

🔥 Week 5 Takeaways

* The top 2 are starting to separate, but it’s far from over
* Multiple ties show just how competitive this league is
* The middle of the pack is chaos—arguably the most exciting part right now
* Plenty of players are one good night away from a big jump

🎱 Looking Ahead

With the standings tightening and pressure building, Week 6 is shaping up to be a turning point. Expect:

* Breakaways… or complete shakeups
* Players taking risks to climb
* Momentum becoming everything

👀 Player to Watch going into Week 6

🎯 Ashley Panaretos (153)

Sitting right on the edge of the mid-pack chaos, Ashley is in one of the most dangerous positions in the league right now—and not by accident.

She’s close enough to the cluster (162–166 range) that one strong week could launch her several spots up the standings. And in a league this tight, that kind of jump changes everything.

What makes her especially dangerous:

* Within striking distance of a major leap
* Playing in the most volatile part of the standings
* Likely underestimated by higher-ranked players

This is exactly the kind of position where momentum builds fast. If she catches a rhythm early in Week 6, don’t be surprised to see her name suddenly sitting much higher on that board.

🎯 “Top Spot Targeted”

Jim Wuertz (191) — You’ve got the crown… but now you’ve got a target on your back.
The gap is there, but it’s not safe. One off night and the door cracks wide open. The question is: can you handle the pressure of being the hunted?

⚔️ “Say Something Already”

Jeff Krieg (176) vs. Gary Turner (176)
Tied and quiet? Not anymore.
This is the kind of tie that begs for someone to step up and take it personally. Who’s breaking away first?

👀 “Knocking Loud”

Angie Bartley (174) — Right there… lurking.
While others battle it out, she’s staying steady and within striking distance. One surge and she’s not chasing—she’s leading.

🔥 “Mid-Pack Madness”

To everyone sitting between 162–171:
Pick a lane. Are you contenders… or just hanging around?
Because right now, this section is crowded, chaotic, and wide open for someone to take control.

🎱 “Prove It Week”

To the bottom half of the board:
No more “almost.” No more “next week.”
This is where spoiler energy lives—and nothing shakes a league like an upset win.

🔥 Final Word

Week 6 isn’t going to be about playing safe—it’s will be about making a statement.
Climb… or get climbed on.
