here. Old Bourbon County (OBC) was the original name for the great state of Kentucky. Initially a territory of Virginia, Old Bourbon County grew to 34 counties that became Kentucky in 1792. Bourbon barrels traveling from this area were charred to preserve the unique flavors of corn and limestone water, then stamped with “Old Bourbon County” before they floated down the Mississippi. Over time OBC became synonymous with the best bourbon in the U.S. OBC Kitchen recognizes the deep heritage and unique flavors of Kentucky bourbon and will offer an extensive and rare selection for our guests’ enjoyment.

Meet the Team: Jack Drake

Jack serves as Market Partner for BHG, overseeing OBC Kitchen, Malone’s Prime Events & Receptions, Malone’s Lansdowne, and Malone’s Louisville.

Jack knows OBC from both sides of the bar. After working as a server and bartender here early in his career, he went on to lead teams across BHG, bringing that experience and firsthand knowledge into his role as Market Partner.

Outside of work, Jack enjoys UK football and basketball, cheering on the Buffalo Bills, traveling, and discovering new restaurants.
