Feeorin Woods David Hicks and Kathryn Kauffman travel throughout Kentucky finding and sharing their favorite places In 2012 we started a exciting venture into wine making.

Surprisingly our first year went great we purchased a wine press and tried our hand at a Cabernet Franc. It was really good for a first Vintner attempt. In 2013 we decided to experiment with a Seyval Blanc. I ended up with a delightful Rose from one Carboy and the rest has a very nice flavor. We have had very good reviews on what we have made. This year we purchased a Crusher De-Stemmer and are looking for land to open a winery and B&B Wish us luck and follow our escapades!!

Iberico pork hanger steak. It is a deep beefy red. Recommend not to cook over medium well. It is Spainish raised pork and doesn't have the parasite issues of American pork. Charro beans and salad. The wine is a Spainish Tempranillo with crushed ice and Lemon Soda. Nice fresh summer drink.
