We are open normal hours this weekend but on that Labor Day note- I need to acknowledge my awesome staff that I truly couldn’t do this without. We are closing out another busy summer season and looking forward to the joys of Fall! Including celebrating Whidbey’s amazing farmers during Local Month and hosting the Local Bites & Aslan Brewer’s Night on the 17th! It’s a cool little collaboration with Whidbey Island Grown!

It’s the last Street Dance of 2026! The dance has been moved over to Bayview Hall because of the weather forecast. That means the Taproom is the only place to get a drink so join us and get your food to go so you can dance the night away at the Hall! Also yesterday was my 4 year anniversary of owning the Taproom which is WILD!

We will be back open on Saturday 8/1! I’m grateful for my staff, the Fire Chief tech who came to rescue us on his day off, Vineet from Goosefoot and the SW Fire Department for their help yesterday. Our sprinkler system went off during last nights dinner service dousing me and the rest of the kitchen in suppression goo. We have had to do a huge clean and have our system reset per fire code before being able to legally reopen. We’ve jumped through all of those hoops and I am now prepping so we can have a normal service tomorrow!
