Why water makes or breaks a wh***ey. 🥃

Most people focus on the grain or the barrel, but water touches every step of wh***ey making, from mashing the grain to bringing the spirit from barrel proof down to bottle proof.

Standard tap water contains heavy minerals and chlorine that can react with barrel tannins, leaving behind off-flavors or a cloudy haze in the bottle.

Distilling in Sun Valley gives us access to pure Sawtooth snowmelt. This naturally mineral-balanced water blends effortlessly into the wh***ey.

Instead of masking subtle flavors, our pristine mountain water allows them to shine through cleanly.

The Black Walnut Manhattan takes our high-altitude Idaho Highlands Wh***ey and elevates it with sweet vermouth, Angostura, and black walnut bitters.

Ingredients:
- 2.0 oz Idaho Highlands Wh***ey
- 0.75 oz Sweet Vermouth
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 1 dash Walnut Bitters
- Brandied cherry

Stir wh***ey, vermouth, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick & Nora glass, then top with a brandied cherry. 🍒

Ever wondered how barrel aging changes our Organic Gin? 🥃

🌿 Warfield Organic Gin
- The process: Crafted from organic wheat neutral grain spirit and distilled with whole organic botanicals.
- Flavor profile: Herbaceous, complex and full-flavored. Notes of cinnamon, sage and juniper marry with bitter, fruity notes from cardamom and coriander.
- Best enjoyed: Classic G&T, French 75, or a crisp Highball.

🪵 Warfield Barrel-Aged Gin
- The process: We take our Organic Gin, then age it for over six months in ex-bourbon barrels high at 5,840 feet, developing rich character.
- Flavor profile: Smooth, floral and subtly sweet with orange blossom, baking spices, pink peppercorn, and vanilla bean.
