We love events that are a little outside the box. One of my favorite things about Roaming Spirits is that we can literally go almost anywhere and make it work. Last night that meant a meadow, string lights, beautiful tables, 250 guests, and it still felt warm and intimate 🥂

I have a love/hate relationship with ribbed glasses because they photograph in a way that makes my eyes go a little dizzy 😂 but for Miss Olivia? Anything. Her garden c**ktail party vision was soft, feminine, a little vintage, and completely her. That’s one of my favorite parts of what we do… you bring us the vibe, and we’ll make the bar feel like it belongs at your event, not ours.

We know it’s been a minute since our last Cocktail Lab. Wedding and event season has kept us busy, so we seriously appreciate everyone who’s reached out asking when the next one is.

We’ve got TWO Halloween Cocktail Labs coming up: October 24 and October 30. Expect Halloween-themed drinks, great energy, photo-worthy moments, and a prize for best costume. Dressing up is totally optional.

Last night’s wedding was one of those weddings where every detail felt completely *them*. The bride walked down the aisle to the Harry Potter theme, their guest book was a framed LEGO portrait of the two of them, and guests were invited to play Mario Kart on a giant screen during the reception. Naturally, the bar needed a little personality too. We created a custom Harry Potter-inspired bar menu, personalized drink stirrers with their names and wedding date, and custom koozies that everyone obsessed over. These are the details we love most. Give us your theme, your inside jokes, your favorite things, and we’ll find a way to sneak a little more of *you* into the bar.

Things hosts always underestimate: Ice.
Nothing says "party foul" quite like sending your cousin on an emergency ice run halfway through the barbecue.
Hosting Tip: Plan on 2 pounds per guest for most outdoor summer parties, and if it's blazing hot, go closer to 3 pounds per person. Serving mostly beer and wine? You can probably scale that back a bit.
And here's my favorite budget-friendly upgrade: Sonic ice. Their 10-pound bags are $2, they make c**ktails look way fancier, and they'll even load them into your car. Fancy drinks... cheaper than gas station prices. We love to see it.
If you'd rather not think about ice quantities, shopping lists, or running out of limes halfway through the party... we'd be happy to take that off your plate. 😉
