Our first ever duckling sweet potato is here to tell you of some slight changes to our hours this week. 🐤 We'll be closing early for a couple special events:
Wednesday 4/15, open 11am-3pm
Thursday 4/16, open 11am-7pm
Wednesday we're hosting a fundraiser for Investigate Midwest.
Thursday we're hosting a show with and .and.co This show is free but we have a limited capacity and it's 18+. Doors will be at 7:30pm for the 8pm show.

We're looking for part-time line cooks and part-time server/bartenders! We're open Tuesdays-Saturdays and the shifts would be a mix of days & nights. Experience preferred. Here's our dinner feature: the Rainbow Bowl with rice, lemon-roasted garlic tofu, fresh, pickled, and roasted veggies, spinach, avocado, and a toasted sesame sauce!

A is for activist by Innosanto Nagara.
I received two copies of this book as baby shower gifts back in 2014 and so one lives at the restaurant and one is on my son's bookshelf with the other books we've kept over the years.
I was tidying up here at work before I left yesterday and serendipitously saw this book. When I got home I read it with my son again and remembered how it filled me with hope and love, and how it taught me things I never learned as a kid, and how grateful I was for the opportunity to share these words and images with my child, especially when they were very young and especially now.
I don't know how to say everything I want to say. My heart breaks and is repaired a million times a day.
I acknowledge the call for a general strike today and the privilege and safety of even being able to contemplate whether or not to partake.
We're open today and will donate to one of the many organizations doing the hard work to help our communities. If you are not purchasing anything today in protest, I understand and respect that.
We are built for compassion. We love you.

Hi, friends! 🧡 We are taking a half day today, Fri 1/23, due to the cold. We're not going to be open for lunch but we will be open for dinner so our hours will be 4:30pm-9pm. Sorry for any inconvenience! 💛 This local sweet potato is also taking a half day. Haha! I had to get a pic of it as I've never seen one like it. I sent the farmer, James of Camp Creek Organic Produce, the pic too and he said he'd never seen one like it either! 🧡 Nature rules. 💛

Hi, friends! ❤ Here's our New Year's Eve menu :) We'll be offering our standard dinner menu as well. We'll also be open for lunch and happy hour on NYE. And as a reminder, here are our remaining holiday hours for the year:
Sat 12/27: 11am-9pm
Tues 12/30: 11am-8pm
Wed 12/31: 11am-8:30pm
Closed Jan 1-5, normal hours resume Tues 1/6 :)
