The movie premiered at the final night of the Dirty Flirty Thirty Anniversary celebration at Dean’s. Erich Avinger gifted the room with a skillful jazz set after the movie.

Many thanks to all of the characters that made this movie possible & for all of the audience members & loved ones that held space for this difficult story to be shared.

A little glimpse of the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new mural on the patio that was finished this past week as part of the Notsuoh 30th Anniversary festivities & in memory of artist Michael Galbreth. Jim’s dear friend & chess partner of 27 years.

Thanks to everyone that came out to celebrate 30 years of Notsuoh.

Many thanks to all of the artists that brought their hearts & enthusiasm & literal blood to the stages/walls/space.

It takes a lot of core strength to make something special like this happen. 🦶🎨

More pictures & videos to come once the blood dries & we get a nice nap or two.

Thanks to the staff for painting walls, hauling equipment & cleaning up way more messes than usual.

A few more pics of Notsuoh through the years to kick off the 30th Anniversary week.

Artists & creatives have been rehearsing & installing in the space all weekend.

Festivities start this Wednesday.

(DJs & Star Wars on VHS tonight from for May 4th for anyone that wants to start the party early!)

We are celebrating 30 dirty flirty years

This is a tentative schedule.

Come Dance to with us on Thursday night.
Can’t make it?
Well then you better come on Wednesday to see shimmy surrounded by local artist vendors from !

And save some energy to rock with on Friday night.

Then take a break by enjoying some soft sculpture by .l.johnson_projects in the front window.
You’ll need to be replenished because Saturday is starting with Rusted Shut.

Lily Anais made this flier for the anniversary - her first photography show will be on view upstairs on Saturday— thanks to for helping her make it happen : May 9th — come look at it while listening to the .love.choir .

Hate art and music? No problem — we have poetry by which will be inside a librarian led installation about the history of the Notsuoh Festival in Houston in the Mezzanine Gallery.
Plus drinks. 🍸

Did I mention we are unveiling a mural by .signs ?
And will be drawing caricatures of you with his feet on Friday!

& & .v___ will be bringing the performance art!

And don’t even get me started on film night.
