This month we're raising a glass to something we believe in: making books, knowledge, and learning accessible to everyone.
You may notice we have a little library of our own at the Dolphin & Anchor. Books have always felt at home in a pub—places where people gather, share ideas, have conversations, and maybe stay for one more chapter (or one more beer).
That spirit goes all the way back to our namesake, Aldus Manutius, who worked to make literature more accessible to a wider audience through smaller, more affordable books.
This month, we're putting that belief into action by supporting the York County Library System.
From September 1 through October 2, we'll donate $1 to the York County Library System's fundraiser for every Library Lover's Lager ordered at Aldus Brewing, while supplies last.
So whether you're settling into a book at the pub or simply enjoying one of our year-round beers, there's a place for both at Aldus.
