Most of you probably recognize this smiling face 😁🫶

Today we're giving a little shoutout to our Operations Manager, Christa, who has been part of the Altland House family since 2014.

Christa joined our team as a server, bringing with her years of restaurant experience after starting in the industry at just 17 years old. By age 24, she had already stepped into her first management role and gone on to manage two other restaurants before finding her home here.

In 2018, she took over our Front of House Manager, and in 2020 moved into her current role as Operations Manager. Since then, she has played a key role in the day-to-day success of the Altland House.

Many of you know Christa from the restaurant, but she's also heavily involved in our events, helping ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Whether she's supporting staff, solving problems, or making sure every detail is covered, she's always willing to jump in wherever she's needed.

Christa works hard to uphold the Haugh family's standards of care, compassion, and hospitality. She has a way of making guests feel welcome, supporting her team, and making sure things are done right.

Outside of work, she's a devoted mom to five children, two stepchildren, and somehow still finds time to volunteer, attend sporting events, and support her kids in everything they do. Around here, we like to joke that she's also responsible for about 45 "work kids" too. 😊

Thank you, Christa, for all that you do. We're so grateful for you! ❤️
