That sip doesn’t end when the glass is empty.

At the Meinelschmidt tent, you won’t just taste whiskey made from Washington County grain. You’ll meet the people using every bottle to help rebuild Hagerstown, support local nonprofits, and show up for arts programs through BISFA and the Maryland Theatre.

Because buying local shouldn’t just taste good.

It should help the place you call home become better.

Find the big black Meinelschmidt tent at Hoffman Hollow Park and learn how every sip makes you part of what Western Maryland is building.

We’re pouring until 6 PM. 🥃

21+ only. Please enjoy responsibly.

🚨 FROSTBURG, MEINELSCHMIDT IS COMING OVER THE MOUNTAIN.

Tomorrow, we’re bringing Hagerstown-made whiskey west for the Western Maryland Craft Beverage Festival.

That means you won’t have to drive halfway across Maryland to find out what Washington County grain tastes like once it becomes whiskey.

Just find the Meinelschmidt tent.

We’ll be pouring alongside 25 other Maryland craft beverage makers from 12–6 PM at Hoffman Hollow Park, with live music playing and every sample helping support the Allegany County Animal Shelter.

Western Maryland makes some damn good drinks.

Tomorrow, we’re bringing ours.

🥃 Tag the person meeting you at our table.

He said the song didn’t match.

Honestly? Fair.

Because no song could carry the weight of these stories.

Every Meinelschmidt whiskey begins with local Washington County grain. But turn the bottle around, and you’ll find something bigger than what was poured inside.

The stories of Medal of Honor recipients:

John A. Chapman.
Thomas Norris.
Alexander “Sandy” Bonnyman Jr.
Humbert Roque “Rocky” Versace.

Not celebrity endorsements.

Not fictional mascots.

American heroes whose courage deserves to be read, remembered and retold.

That’s why a portion of every whiskey bottle sold supports combat veteran programs and charities.

Because great craft whiskey should tell you where its grain came from.

A meaningful bottle should tell you what it stands for.

Which hero’s story should we share next?

Drop the name below, then send this to someone who believes a whiskey bottle can carry more than flavor.

For audiences 21+ only. Please enjoy responsibly.

Your whiskey taste is personal. Your music taste? Apparently everyone gets an opinion.

You know the look when you name your favorite bottle.
Same one you get when someone hands you the aux cord and immediately regrets it.

So we paired our Meinelschmidt whiskeys with the rock songs that fit their personalities.

Our Maryland Rye got ZZ Top. The cask strength got Zeppelin.

And yes, we’re prepared to defend those decisions.

Swipe through, then drop your pairing in the comments: one whiskey, one band, one song.

Think we missed? Give us a better one.

Repost this for the friend who treats the whiskey shelf and the playlist like elected positions.

Must be 21+ older to enjoy. Enjoy responsibly.

Your bourbon has tasting notes. Does it have hometown roots?

Ours run through Washington County farms, into our Hagerstown distillery, and back to the people who make this place worth calling home.

We’re Meinelschmidt. Veteran-owned. Made with local grains. And we donate a portion of our proceeds to veterans assistance programs, because showing up for those who served deserves more than a holiday post.

You came looking for a bourbon worth drinking. Finding one that supports people you give a damn about? That makes room on the shelf a little easier.

This Bourbon Heritage Month, meet your next local favorite.

Send this to the whiskey friend who always asks, “Who makes it?”

Kentucky gets plenty of bourbon love. Let’s give Washington County a little.

Right here in Downtown Hagerstown, we make ours with local grain grown by our neighbors. You’ll taste that familiar vanilla sweetness and mellow honey. But there’s something else to appreciate, too.

The farms behind the grain. The people behind the bottle. The hometown you’re helping grow every time you choose local.

It’s a good feeling, knowing who made your whiskey.

Come by. We’ll introduce ourselves. 🥃

Must be 21+older to enjoy. Drink responsibly.

Bourbon Heritage Month usually means 30 days of people telling you what to drink.

We’re not doing that.

Pour what makes you feel like you’ve got a permanent seat in some dimly lit private club, surrounded by people with “do-whatever-I-want money” buying expensive things just because they can.

Except this bourbon is kinder to your wallet.

Meinelschmidt Straight Bourbon is affordable luxury; the kind you pour when you want the evening to feel expensive without checking whether you’re dressed for the room.

No membership.

No velvet rope.

No one telling you how to drink it.

Just a damn good bourbon that makes an ordinary night feel a few tax brackets higher.

Must be 21+ older. Enjoy responsibly

Another craft distillery telling you their bourbon is “smooth” would’ve been less painful than this backflip.

So we skipped that part.

Find a bottle you haven’t been told to like yet.

Hey! Just where do you think YOU’RE going?!

Yeah, you scrolled past once and thought “neat, might just stop by to say hi”.

Well don’t think about it, come on by. I can use some help.

Why? Because we had a little “accident”.

See someone, made a boo boo.
There was an argument, some words were yelled, I hid behind the bar and when I came back up someone was laid out on the floor and the rest of the bar was empty…

And I ain’t takin the fall for nobody, you hear me?

So come on in tomorrow, Thursday August 27 by 6:30pm and help Taylor Martin and his crew figure out who left the body on the floor with the Dead Drunks for one final murder mystery.

As for me, I ain’t stepping foot in anyone’s crime scene. Tell ya what though, there’s a drink in it for ya ( discounts not guaranteed).
