Our ever-popular Treat Street is in a league of its own. It encompasses the heart of our community... and is one of the biggest attractions for all to enjoy. Ask any fair-goer their favorite and the reply will be passionately instant. Made up of non-profits, thousands of volunteers have donated their time to make these machines operate while hundreds of local businesses have donated to the fundraisers supporting their longevity. Our community is a family, coming full-circle with each generation. Ag-Mechanics creates future vision with the success of each annual auction, the talent unbelievable. The livestock auction on Sunday inspires the youth to become responsible, growing each year in their endeavor of success, both personally and professionally and who doesn't love seeing the fresh-faced kids serving perfectly swirled Frostees?!! What a lucky group we are. What an extraordinary place we live. We hope you all get out to the most exquisite fairgrounds in California and experience the past, present and future of Nevada County. What a wonderful party! Jerry, Tucker. Ryan and I are beyond grateful for your beautiful hearts. Taking the time and making the effort in celebrating Jerry's 80th birthday with all of us was the best gift in the world. For 43 years, he has shared his Cirino's Family Table with thousands and thousands of you as you celebrated a most important event. Today, it is his day... Ryan, Tucker and I invite you to come on in, between 4:00pm-6:00pm, and enjoy appetizers and cake to honor him on his special day. It's a surprise! (no social media for him) and btw, a hidden bit of trivia, this plaque on the wall in Main Street's dining room was custom made, many years ago, capturing the year Jerry arrived into this world running full sprint and never stopping... and, yes, he did run track at Nevada Union!!!😂 Be it a quick "hello" or a time to gather for a few moments longer, we'd love to have you. You are family. Thank you from our hearts to yours...

Now, this is a bowl of pasta... and it's a "first" honoring the next generation in the Cirino Family Kitchen with our 43 year Family Tradition. So, all you have to say, when you come in this weekend, is "I would like to order Ryan Cirino's Birthday Pasta". Filled to the brim is a Poached Seafood Medley tossed with Angel Hair Pasta, Italian White Wine, Cream Broth, Fresh Tomatoes, Sundried Tomatoes, Fresh Spinach and Cracked Red Pepper. Our Seafood Selection tonight is Fresh Salmon, Unicorn Fish (a tender white fish from the Southern Pacific known for its mild and clean flavor) and Scampi. Come on in and celebrate a truly delicious "Special". You'll swear you're in Italy.
