Our course hosted this month’s Sierra League Team Play Event on Monday. 5 teams of 8 players each from area courses play a round at each course once, building Stableford Points toward a season ending champion. Our NCCC team played well on our home course, accumulating enough points for 2nd place on the day, and moving up to 3rd overall for the season. One final round awaits us in September.

A huge thank you to member Ted Schoppe and his team for completing a beam replacement project recently at our Cart Barns. Other member volunteers included Mike Blackston, Dave Wisnia, Keith Barnes, John Odom, Scott Spindler, Jerry Murphy and Steve Swain.

Special appreciation to member Gary Deardorff for generously providing the timber and milling it into the beams and additional lumber needed for the project.
