For over 50 years, our family has celebrated Polish Heritage Weekend with our community. Our grandparents and parents were members of the Polish halls, and they spent a lot of time volunteering and being part of those communities. Growing up, this weekend was always one of our favorite traditions. It was a time when friends and family came together to celebrate where we came from.
We also grew up understanding that Pulaski was more than just a name or a trademark. To us, it was a symbol of unity and what could happen when the Polish community came together. It represented our history, our heritage and the people who made this community what it is.
That’s really what this weekend has always meant to us bringing people together. We know we’re not a Polish hall, but we’ve always supported the halls and will continue to do so. We know how important they are to our Polish community, and our family has been a part of that for generations.
We also want to celebrate here at Fulton Street Pub. Starting tomorrow, we’ll have Polish food, drinks and specials throughout the weekend. But more than anything, we want to have a place where people can come together, have some food and a drink, catch up with friends and family, meet new people and celebrate our Polish heritage together.
We’re proud of where we come from, proud of the community that has been a part of our family for generations, and we want to keep that tradition going for as long as we can.
