Schmohz will be open on Sunday this week for the GLI hockey tournament. Michigan Tech will be playing Western in the first round starting at 3:30. The tap room will be open at 2. Come and root for the Huskies.

Schmohz is having an open house on Sunday 14 July from 3-8pm to celebrate Laurie and Jim's birthdays this month. It will be a mug club style pot luck party, but all are invited. We will have drink specials during the day and a lot of fun. Hope you can stop by.

Michigan Tech is playing in the NCAA Hockey Tournament. They play Boston College in the first round at 2:00 today. Come to Schmohz for some great beer and root on the Huskeys!

Michigan Tech is playing for the CCHA Championship tonight vs Bemidji State starting at 7:00. We will have the game on at Schmohz. Come and join us for a beer and root for the Huskeys to beat the Beavers.

Sunday will be the19th Anniversary for Schmohz. To kick off the weekend in style, tonight we will be tapping a cask of a bourbon aged - double dry hopped -Hopknocker. Tapping will happen about 7 pm. Stop in this weekend and help us celebrate getting to 19 years.

We are having a Bon Voyage party tonight for Travelling Man and his Travelling Companion from 8-10. They are embarking on a multi month cruise next week and will not be back until Spring.

We had such a good turn out for the Lion's - Bears game we decided to open again tomorrow for the Lions vs Saints. The doors will be open at 12:45. Great Beers, Great Friends and hopefully at Great Game tomorrow.

Mug Club

Your first year is $45 with an annual renewal on January 1st of $40. Mug members everyday get a $1 off pint prices and $0.50 off Growler fills. Monday's are extra special you get $1.50 off pint prices. When you sign up we engrave a mug with your club name, some are quite funny, and join date.

When a member comes in they pull their mug from the wall and bring it to the bartender. We will wash and return your mug to the spot on the wall you selected when you signed up. We also have several Members only events during the year with deep discounts on beer. Hope to see you in to sign up soon.
