In our ongoing quest to provide excellent customer service, we placed suggestion boxes throughout House Rules so guests could tell us what we're doing well and where we could improve.

While we've received a few jerky comments along the way, the overwhelming majority have been positive. Every now and then, though, one stands out.

This particular note made me smile.

Feelin' Froggy? Join hosts Eirann and Jenna Betka-Pope as they explore the quirky and wonderful world of THE MUPPETS!

Not every month has a fifth Monday, so these are pretty special! Eirann and Jenna pull out all the stops for an experience above and beyond the regular awesomeneess of 1st and 3rd Monday trivia events.

Fifth Monday themed trivia events are $5 per person. Enjoy a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, a full menu, and gift card prizes.

Teams of 1-6 can play.

Please note: Teams of 2 players may be paired with other teams, or be sat at the same table as another team of 2. There is one community table for individual players.

Tables open at 6:00. Feel free to arrive early to get some food and beverage, or just settle in.

What's a hobbit's favorite meal of the day? 

Second Breakfast!

If you were expecting a pun, sorry to disappoint! Ol' Bilbo isn't great with puns, but he's great at throwing a party, and what's a party without a delicious meal fit for hobbits?

This weekend, to celebrate the Magic: the Gathering: The Hobbit prerelease, we'll have a special sandwich on our menu: the Second Breakfast, a smash burger with bacon, swiss cheese, a fried egg and housemade green chutney mayo, all served on Field & Fire foccacia. It will give you the energy you need to make the long trek to the Lonely Mountain.

Available Friday through Monday, get it by itself for $12, or make it a combo with a side of fries for $16. We've also still got four tickets for the prerelease on Sunday at noon, so grab 'em before they're gone, and be sure you treat yourself to Second Breakfast and maybe some Elevensies while you're soldiering across the land.

Game on!
