All 3 of these raccoons were the same color. The two on the right were exposed to direct sunlight and overtime lost a lot of color.
UV rays are stealing life from your mount! Be mindful where you display those trophies.

Laughing Fox Taxidermy will not be open during the Lumberjack Festival this weekend.

I’ve been working hard on customer projects and haven’t had time to plan anything in the shop. On top of that, the current air quality has made it unsafe for me to be there—I’m very sensitive to it, and this is the worst I’ve seen it.

My main focus right now is staying on track with your projects, and I’m happy to say turnaround times are still looking good.

Due to the extreme heat this week, Laughing Fox Taxidermy will be closed.

As many of you know, my shop does not have air-conditioning, and with multiple chest freezers running, it creates a significant amount of heat inside. While that’s great during the winter months, it makes for a very uncomfortable and unsafe working environment in the summer.

I’ve been doing my best to work early mornings to beat the heat, but with this current heat wave, the shop is not cooling down enough overnight to make that possible.

I appreciate your understanding and patience, and I’ll be back to normal operations as soon as temperatures allow. If you need anything in the meantime, feel free to reach out and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!
