Abicks Nation! And especially the ladies … if you are a lady or you know a lady or love and care about a lady, then sign up and bring her with you to Women’s Wellness Day on Saturday, April 25 from nine until noon at Corewell Health’s Dearborn campus. The morning begins with an optional chair yoga session at 8am and the rest of the morning is a self-guided exhibition of women’s health and wellness topics and practitioners. There will be free vision and blood pressure testing, free take home Cologuard FIT kits, and four sessions of interactive Q&A with doctors and specialists on topics ranging from the importance of screenings, advanced care planning, finding balance between career and home across the different ages and stages of a woman’s life, and more.
The event is free to attend but registration is recommended. Nutritional Services will also be on hand, giving away samples of delicious, nutritious and easy to make smoothies and snacks.
