The clocks went back. Brunch got weird. 🐿️🥂

Let’s do the Time Warp… then eat.

🥩 $19 Steak & Eggs: two 3 oz bistro steak medallions, two fried eggs & breakfast potatoes.
🍳 $7 Breakfast: one fried egg, buttered English muffin & breakfast potatoes.
🥪 $7 Breakfast Sandwich Plate: fried egg, Canadian bacon & melted cheese on an English muffin, with breakfast potatoes.
🧇 $12 Belgian Waffle Breakfast: lemon curd, mascarpone & two eggs on the side.
🍳 $15 Eggs Benedict: two poached eggs, Canadian bacon & hollandaise on an English muffin, with breakfast potatoes.

We called it Steakhouse Takeover. You took that personally. 🐿️🥩

Fairfax, you showed up hungry tonight. Demand blew past our plans, we sold out of steaks, and our little kitchen got buried.

To everyone who waited too long or missed out: we’re sorry. We loved the turnout, but we owe you a smoother experience.

The squirrel is revising his math. And apparently melting into a Salvador Dalí painting.

Thank you for coming out and supporting us. Round two is Saturday, October 31, 11:30 AM–6 PM at Chubby Squirrel Brewing. ❤️

We said Steakhouse Takeover. We didn’t say you had to use a fork. 🥖

Tender USDA Choice American Hereford beef, Jarlsberg and horseradish sauce on a toasted baguette, with au jus for a proper dunk and fries to catch whatever you miss.

We briefly considered serving the au jus in a Super Soaker. Apparently “open wide” isn’t proper table service, so you’re getting a dipping cup.

$22, fries included. Come hungry. Wear something forgiving.

Alright, here’s the full menu for our Steakhouse Takeover, starting TOMORROW! We’ve been eating very well getting ready for this, and now it’s your turn.

USDA Choice American Hereford Bistro Steak Frites with peppercorn sauce for $29. Steak French Dips with Jarlsberg, horseradish and au jus for $22, plus a portobello version for $18. Both come with fries, because of course they do.

Start with the $12 burrata, add a side Caesar, and save room for the $7 Chocolate Temptation cake. Yes, we’re actually doing dessert. After testing this one, we couldn’t really leave it off.

Bring someone you like enough to share the burrata with. The chocolate cake is a separate negotiation.

Friday and Saturday our USDA CHOICE American Hereford butcher’s tenders (with more flavor than and second in tenderness only to filet mignon)! For $29 enjoy an outsized 9oz steak, perfectly seasoned and cooked with beef tallow. There is everyone else’s steak and fries, and then there’s a Chubby Squirrel steak frites.
