A last-minute W***hes decision has entered the chat. 😂

We asked if we could take over maintaining our shared entryway… and then, naturally, decided that meant we should probably paint it too.

Because apparently “let’s keep the entryway maintained” translates to “how hard could painting this be?” in W***hes language. 😅

So, one more little project has officially been added to the list.

We’re pretty sure the entryway is about to get a little more W***hes-y. ✨

✨ So… who exactly are the W***hes? ✨

If you’re new around here, welcome! We’re Jessica & Brandi, the two weirdos behind W***hes of Wormwood. 🖤

We met while working at a mental health organization and eventually decided starting a little tea business together sounded like a perfectly reasonable life choice.

Spoiler alert: it did not stay little. 😂

What started with loose-leaf tea has grown into tea, crystals, tarot, intention goodies, handmade creations and now a new shop in Waynesville!

We believe in finding magic in the small things.
We believe your weird is probably one of your best qualities.
We believe there’s room for both the woo-woo and the wonderfully practical.

So whether you’ve been with us since the tea days or just found us yesterday, we’re glad you’re here.

Apparently, when you open a shop in an old building, you don’t necessarily get walls that believe in straight lines. 😂

We’re getting our future tarot reading room ready, and hanging these tarot posters should have been a simple little project…

SHOULD have been.

If you look even remotely closely, you’ll notice our walls have a little… personality. 😅

So naturally, we broke out the laser level because apparently the walls can be wonky, but the tarot cards cannot. 🔮😂

Slowly but surely, our tarot reading room is taking shape, and we are OBSESSED with how it’s coming together. ✨

A little crookedness, a little magic, and a whole lot of W***hes. 🖤

Somehow the girls who grew up on VHS tapes, butterfly clips, chunky jewelry, and questionable fashion choices now own a magical little shop in Waynesville.

And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way. 🖤🌙

The sign is up. The porch is glowing. The shelves are filling. And W***hes is officially becoming a real little place of its own.

There’s something about a quiet night in town… the empty streets, the soft glow of the lights, and that little feeling that maybe you’ve landed exactly where you’re supposed to be. 🌙✨

And then there’s our little corner of Waynesville.

The sign is up. The porch is glowing. The moon and stars are twinkling. And somehow, this weird little dream of ours is becoming real. 🖤

Hand-planing without the mansplaining. 🪚✨

Because apparently, when you open a shop in an old building, nothing is allowed to be straight, square, level, or particularly interested in cooperating.

The door was just a little bit wonky (shocking, we know 🙃), so Brandi and I grabbed the hand plane and started shaving it down until it would actually close properly.

No men needed.
Just two wenches, a stubborn door, and the sheer determination to make this damn thing work. 😂

We may not know exactly what we’re doing at all times… but we’re figuring it out. 🔮🪚

Our very first W***hes of Wormwood sign is officially up on the window, and suddenly this little shop is feeling real. 🥹🔮

A HUGE thank you to Neil and Sam for getting this done for us! We appreciate you more than you know. 🖤

One little step at a time, we’re making this place ours—and we cannot wait for you all to see it! ✨

It’s the first of the month, so obviously we’re standing in the doorway blowing cinnamon into the shop to invite in a little abundance. 🧡🌿

Am I posting this a day late? Yes.
Did I remember to record it at all? ALSO yes. And honestly, we’re calling that a win. 😂

Around here, we believe in setting intentions, making a little magic, and occasionally looking completely unhinged while doing it.

So here’s to a September full of abundance, good people, unexpected opportunities, and just the right amount of weird. ✨

After months of planning, painting, building, rearranging, flooring, creating, stressing, laughing, and probably questioning our sanity more than once…

W***hes of Wormwood is officially having a GRAND OPENING! 🖤🌿

⏰ 11 AM – 7 PM

We’re still filling shelves. We’re still creating new products. We’re still building partnerships with some pretty wonderful people. And, honestly, there are still a few things on our “oh s**t, we need to finish that” list. 😂

But we’re ready.

Ready to start bringing a little whimsy, magic, curiosity, and weirdness to Waynesville. ✨

This shop has been built with a whole lot of love (and an unreasonable amount of late nights), and we cannot wait to finally open the doors and invite you inside.

BUT WAIT… 👀

Before the big day, keep those 👀 PEELED for pop-up shop hours this weekend and in the coming days as we start offering a little soft opening!

You might get an early peek. You might find us still moving things around. You might catch us testing out the whole “having an actual storefront” thing. 😂

Either way, we’d love to see you.
