This Tuesday May 26th from 5:30 to 7:30, maybe the best palate in the building will be Behind the Barrel. Andrew Marshall is taking over for a “Deep Cuts” Wine Tasting Tuesday built around the kinds of wines that don’t always make the loudest noise, but absolutely reward the people paying attention.

We are intentionally not releasing the full lineup ahead of time. The whole idea is discovery. Five “if you know, you know” bottles that Andrew is excited to pour, talk through, and maybe quietly obsess over with anyone willing to go down the rabbit hole with him.

We will tease this much: there will be some absolutely lovely Sangiovese from Castello Tricerchi in Montalcino involved somewhere along the way. The rest, you’ll have to come find out for yourself.

Mandy is behind the barrel for a full French Wine Tasting Tuesday, and this one is basically a little vacation across France in five glasses. We’re starting with bubbles from Alsace, cruising through crisp Loire Sauvignon Blanc, getting a little juicy with Gamay, then finishing strong with classic Rhône and Bordeaux reds.

Five French wines, $10 per person, and your tasting is free if you buy a bottle. Come hang, taste through France, and let Mandy make your Tuesday feel wildly more sophisticated than it had any right to be.

Colin will be behind the barrel this week for a Tuscan Wine Tasting Tuesday featuring five Italian bottles that punch way above their weight. Think rolling hillside reds, savory herbs, dusty tannins, and the kind of wines that make you want to book a flight to central Italy immediately.

This one feels personal. We are heading to Babylonstoren, a place that somehow pulls off being one of the most beautiful farms in the world while quietly producing some of the most thoughtful wines coming out of South Africa right now.

Melinda will be behind the barrel pouring a lineup that is as fresh as it gets, including three brand new labels that have never been poured here before. This is one of those nights where you are tasting a winery in motion, not just a static lineup.
