Meet our artist of the week: Sam Marie is a Hernando County born & raised multimedia artist who’s been creating art for as long as she can remember. In college, she dove more professionally into the art world and became a paint instructor in 2015, bouncing all around the Tampa Bay Area teaching art events and participating in local art shows. In 2019 she started her career in a more permanent form of art - tattoos! Known online as Samari Art and Tattoos, she splits her time between creating multimedia artworks, teaching paint/craft events, murals, markets, and mostly tattooing. Being a Florida native, she draws inspiration for her art from local wildlife and lore as well as fantasy stories and worlds.
