We are the next part in the evolution of the Coda Restaurant Group. Chefs and Co-owners Kevin O'Donnell and Michael Lombardi of The Salty Pig helm Boston's first Venetian Bacaro serving cicchetti and shared plates featuring the cuisine of the wonderful city and region of Venice, Italy. We will feature an extensive wine list as well as Italian craft beer.

A quick update from SRV ❤️
Due to an unexpected emergency, we’re postponing our upcoming Cicchetti Takeover with Chef George Mendes that was scheduled for June 16.

We’re disappointed not to welcome George next week, but we’re working to find a new date and look forward to hosting him at SRV soon.

In the meantime, we’re sending our best wishes to George and his family and appreciate your understanding.

SRV will be open for regular service on June 16, so join us for cicchetti, spritzes, and dinner as usual. 🍷✨

🍷 Cicchetti Takeover is back.

One of our favorite SRV traditions returns on Tuesday, June 16, and we’re kicking things off with an incredible guest: Chef George Mendes.

From 5:30–7PM (or until the food runs out), Chef Mendes will be working our cicchetti station, serving complimentary bites and saying hello to guests in the bacaro, bar, and patio. Expect a few special creations from one of the country’s most celebrated Portuguese chefs and a preview of what’s to come from his upcoming South End projects, Agosto and Baby Sister.

A bittersweet day where we say thank you and goodbye to one of our most kind and positive chefs, Deondre. Deondre started with us 5 years ago as a line cook, grew to a Jr Sous Chef at SRV, then joined the opening team at Baleia as a Sous Chef, and then came back home to take on a Sous role at SRV when we needed him most.

Deondre has been the embodiment of champion and cheerleader for his team. An attitude of YES even when we’re asking him to do ridiculous things like make social media videos. His work ethic, drive, and all around good vibes have demonstrated time and time again how wonderful working in this industry can be when we have positive leaders.

We’ll miss you and all your punk pop/metal music love Chef. Wishing you all the best on your next adventure- can’t wait to come cheer you on and see what you do in the furture!

SHE’S BACK! One of our favorite elements of SRV was always the Bacaro area where you would watch Cicchetti bites be made right infront of you. In Covid we had to take it away to be in compliance with health guidelines and it just didn’t come back. But we decided this year, 10 years into SRV, we have to get back to our roots and bring back the Cicchetti vibes.

Welcome back to our favorite little interactive station! Come by for a drink and a snack to see some of our lovely cooks in action. 🍷🫒
