The purpose of this corporation (VFW) shall be fraternal, patriotic, historical, charitable, and educational; to preserve and strengthen comradeship among its members; to assist worthy comrades; to perpetuate the memory and history of our dead, and to assist their widows and orphans; to maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America, and fidelity to its institutions of American freedom, and to preserve and defend the United States from all her enemies, whomsoever.

Red, White, and Blue: Honoring Flag Day at VFW Post 4254 🇺🇸

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress officially adopted the Stars and Stripes as the symbol of our nation. For generations of service members, that flag has been a constant reminder of home, a beacon of hope on distant shores, and a symbol of the freedoms we swore an oath to protect.

Today, we celebrate not just a piece of cloth, but the ideals it represents and the sacrifices made to keep it flying high.

Friendly Reminder: If your home or business flag is looking a little worn from the Florida sun, don't throw it away. You can always bring weathered, tattered flags to our Post drop-box for a proper, dignified retirement ceremony.

From the American Revolution to modern-day deployments, women have always stepped up to serve, defend, and lead. Today, they represent the fastest-growing segment of our veteran population.
