Pet Shop Boys’ debut album "Please", featuring the hit singles “West End girls” , “Love comes quickly”, “Opportunities (Let’s make lots of money)” and “Suburbia”, was released 03/24/86, 40 years ago.

Neil and Chris chose the album title so people could go into a record shop and say “Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album, please?”

Vicci Laine is going to be honored with a mural at the Spencer Pride building. She would hardly believe it but would absolutely love it. ❤️

This Pride, I’m reflecting on the life and legacy of Vicci Laine—the beloved late Hoosier drag performer who championed LGBTQ+ visibility and health equity across the state. This fall, I’ll be painting a mural for Spencer Pride to honor her story as a tribute to chosen family and the power of small towns showing up loud and proud. Let’s celebrate Pride all month and year long by uplifting q***r voices, supporting local LGBTQ+ organizations, and making space for every story to be seen!

We have lost another member of the Uncle E’s family. Joel Pugh will be remembered for his wit & talent, his love of the absurd and his wicked sense of humor. Perhaps most of all his unforgettable, joyous laugh.
