🎹 Monday, October 26th - The Brian Felix Organ Trio is the jazz/funk organ group of the future. Rooted in the deep traditions of organ-driven jazz, funk, and soul, the trio blends reggae, samba, surf rock, gospel, and ambient soundscapes into a unified and forward-looking musical vision. Known for its telepathic interplay, deep grooves, and daring spontaneity, the trio has been captivating audiences throughout the southeastern United States.

🎻 Beginning November 4th, Casey Driessen will be joining us on the first Wednesday of each month through April to provide us with a new kind of energy on some Wednesday evenings. No cover, always 7-10. Join us for an otherworldly sound that makes you feel like you're in an old-time tavern.

How can we say how much we love you in an Instagram caption??? You are an exquisite human being, an amazing friend, and a kick ass boss. Every day you make us laugh even if the world feels gloomy. The whole block lights up when you come around. You execute every idea you have with the utmost effort and it always pays off. You always keep us on our toes, and we can always count on you for anything simultaneously. You work so hard to show up as a friend, and to take care of our every need as a leader even when it gets difficult. You are everything we could have hoped for, and someone we want to have around to make us cackle and plan our crazy parties forever.

🎸 Monday, October 12th - Andy and Zack Page have been finishing each other's musical sentences since before either could drive. Born four minutes apart and raised in a house where blues records, old-time singing, and hard rock all shared the same air, the twins grew into a guitar and a bass that move like one nervous system, Andy's lines and Zack's low end tracking each other so closely the seam disappears. Under the Page Brothers name, they lead a rotating cast through gypsy swing, straight-ahead jazz, fusion, and, when the mood turns, something closer to the metal they never quite outgrew. Tonight the cast runs four deep, and the two players rounding out the quartet have each spent a lifetime making music that record stores never knew where to shelve.

🎹 Monday, October 5th - Pavel Wlosok brings his quartet to the corner for an evening of contemporary jazz played by musicians who have all, in their own ways, arrived in Asheville by circuitous routes. These are serious musicians in a room that encourages seriousness to loosen up, the creature watching from its corner, the weird art doing its weird art thing on the walls. Part of Little Jumbo's curated jazz series. Free to attend. (Food from Outrigger, 5-9pm!)
