Blue LLama is Ann Arbor's premiere Jazz Club and Restaurant, proudly serving our community since 2019. The award winning chef, restaurateur and cookbook author JJ Johnson joined our team as Creative Culinary Director, overseeing the culinary relaunch and future of the restaurant. His new menu brings the spirit and flavors of American jazz meccas like Harlem and New Orleans, along with flavors from Barbados and Puerto Rico through an Afro Caribbean menu, a style of cooking that Chef JJ has become known for.

We're kicking off Wednesday Date Nights every week for the perfect date night in, with some real highlights coming mid-month. Thursday, September 10th, we're hosting a special Two James Spirits Dinner & Show ft. Evening Star, pairing five courses with five handcrafted spirits. The very next night, headliner Tyreek McDole brings his award-winning voice to our stage. And later in the month, on September 23rd, the Grammy winning vocalist Nicole Zuraitis brings her quartet to close out an incredible run of headliners.
