Do not let us forget

Breonna Taylor was an award-winning EMT and first responder in Louisville, KY, who loved helping her patients and her community. "She was an essential worker. How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. ~ Carol Sobieski

Fourteen years is a long time, and yet it seems like too soon to say goodbye. It is with heavy hearts that we must announce the dissolution of the Ann Arbor Book Festival.

Together, we’ve done great things for our local reading community. Thank you for letting us serve you! Fortunately, it doesn’t have to end here...

We encourage you to support your local libraries, indie bookstores, and our sister festival, the Kerrytown BookFest. We ask that you continue to lose yourself in stories that excite you, surround yourself with the company of fellow bibliophiles, and support and celebrate literacy however and wherever you can.

With great love and passion,

AABF

It's Ypsi Day! Go Book Crawling with us at Blackstone Bookstore & Cultural Center at 5, featuring John Darryl Winston and Vanessa Marr. Then head across the street to the Michigan Avenue branch of Ypsi District Library at 6 to take in the launch of the Whittaker Road Works anthology (which will take place upstairs) while children's authors Debbie Taylor and Keri Middaugh entertain younger readers (on the lower level of the library) with readings from their works. Debbie and Keri will answer questions, followed by creative writing activities. See you and the kids there!
