The Green Horizon Grill offers an inviting and unique experience with its elegant rustic layout and woodwork. Our restaurant is filled with history and antiques from Abbottstown and the surrounding area! It is always a busy place bubbling with conversation and friends! On the flip side, we have a one of a kind serene patio overlooking the golf course and Adams County Countryside that is second to none offering a covered patio which can hold about 100 people. Overlooking the golf course it features a different variety of outdoor patio furniture, awning with a ceiling fan, and a real Key West feel when it comes to our tiki bar, all while enjoying the great outdoors. The Green Horizon Grill has daily specials, host a variety of special events: class reunions, wedding receptions, golf tournaments, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, Christmas parties and much more. These events can be held year round. The patio features live entertainment every Friday and Saturday throughout the summertime from 7:00pm-10:00pm. Whether you are joining us for dinner, drinks, or a special occasion we are sure you will be pleased. We strive to work personally with all our guests to make your experience memorable. Being in this business for 23 years—and only being 38—hospitality is really all I’ve ever known.

We grind every single day to take care of every guest who walks through our doors. We work hard to accommodate requests whenever reasonably possible, solve problems when they arise, and provide an experience that makes people want to come back.

Running a business is hard. Running a hospitality business can be especially demanding because behind every restaurant, golf course, hotel, or small business is a team of human beings. And human beings, despite their best efforts, sometimes make honest mistakes.

What’s difficult is the growing culture of the “keyboard warrior.” Someone can leave a business, sit in the parking lot, and immediately type a hateful or demeaning review—without ever giving the people inside an opportunity to address the problem.

If something isn’t right, please talk to us. Ask for a manager. Give us the opportunity to fix it.

We can’t correct a problem we don’t know about, and most hospitality professionals genuinely want the chance to make things right.

WE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT.

That doesn’t mean we’ll always be perfect. It means we’ll listen, we’ll care, and when we make a mistake, we’ll do our best to fix it.

After 23 years in this business, that’s still what hospitality means to me.
