Uma paixão cujo prefácio inscreve a sexta arte: a das letras, dos sons sussurrados, da métrica e dos silêncios das sílabas. Um amor cuja memória nem sempre grava os rostos, os aromas e os acontecimentos com a precisão de quando ocorrem subitamente. Mas há uma que sabemos de cor: uma lembrança do final da primavera de 1987, no Zénith de Paris. Pouco depois de o concerto ter começado, a voz tenor de
Bono Vox anunciava que ainda não tinha encontrado o que estava à procura. Hoje, neste espaço homónimo que inauguramos, essa quimera é materializada. Um projeto há muito desejado, armado com a prata da casa, um desejo de poder fazer pelos artistas aquilo que sempre fizeram por nós. Sem qualquer presunção, sentimos a aspiração de sermos um espaço para que jovens artistas possam expor, para que possamos ser um espaço de referência cultural em Lisboa. Aqui ao pé, no Jardim Constantino, a estátua de Prometeu suscita a lembrança daquele que, num ato de rebeldia, fez com que a esperança vivesse no coração dos Homens. Esta vontade humana por conhecimento e este amor pela arte, a ele lhe devemos. E é isso que representa e faz crescer este nosso Zénite: o saber que nos faz sentir, este furor que nos devora a alma. E se foi em nome da Arte que o sonhamos, é pelos artistas que o criamos. Temos como objetivos: - Envolver o público através de eventos dedicados às mais diversas formas de arte e à promoção de artistas, bem como à venda das obras dos mesmos;
- Servir como espaço de exposição para artistas, especialmente os mais jovens. Com criadores na família, entendemos as dificuldades que os artistas enfrentam;
- Servir como plataforma de apoio para aproximar artistas e público geral e como espaço de convívio e relaxamento, onde possam partilhar um cocktail ou trincar uns snacks.

A tale of two sisters. A passion whose prologue writes up the sixth art: that of letters, whispered sounds, meter and the silences of syllables. A love whose memory does not always capture faces, aromas, and events with the precision of when they suddenly occur. But there is one we know by heart: the remembrance of the late spring of 1987, in the Zenith of Paris. Shortly after the concert began, Bono Vox’s tenor voice announced that he had not yet found what he was looking for. In that concert hall, neither did we. Today, in this homonymous space we unveil, this chimera is materialized. A long-desired project, bolstered with family silver, a desire to be able to do for the artists what they have always done for us. Without any conceit, we aim to be a space for young artists to exhibit, to be a cultural reference in Lisbon. Here beside, at Jardim Constantino, the statue of Prometheus excites the memory of the one who, in an act of rebellion, gave hope to the hearts of Men. This human eagerness for knowledge and this love for art, we owe it to him. And that’s what embodies and makes our Zénite thrive: the knowledge that makes us feel, the fierceness that devours our soul. And if it was in the name of Art that we dreamed it, it was for the artists that we rose it. Our goals are:
- To engage the public through events dedicated to the most diverse forms of art and the promotion of artists, as well as the sale of their works. - To function as an exhibition space for artists, especially the younger ones. Having creators in the family, we understand the difficulties that artists face. - To function as a support platform to bring together artists and the general public and function as a place for socializing and relaxing, where they can share a cocktail or a snack.
