COMUNICADO:
No final do ano e 25 anos depois, o Lounge despede-se do nº1 da Rua da Moeda.
Aos amigos, espectadores, clientes, técnicos, artistas, músicos, DJs e todos que nos têm acompanhado nesta incrível viagem, obrigado!
Por este ‘palco gigantesco’ partiram para o mundo artistas imensos que aqui encontraram força e apoio para crescer, e outros tantos internacionais cá vieram encontrar a intimidade do público com rara intensidade e partilha.
Acreditamos que a forma de oferecer uma programação eclética e abrangente contribuiu desde o início para a identidade do bairro e da cidade - sempre de portas abertas a todos, com sentido de inclusão e diversidade.
Infelizmente não conseguimos ver renovado o contrato de aluguer do espaço que ocupamos. O tsunami de brilho postiço que tem inundado a cidade e divergências em relação aos interesses da senhoria põem fim a esta viagem. É humano, é negócio. O travo amargo não chega para temperar as memórias de 25 anos incríveis na Rua da Moeda.
Até ao final do ano ainda temos muito para vos dar, por isso até breve!

25 years later, Lounge says goodbye to Rua da Moeda nº1, in the end of the year.
To our friends, spectators, patrons, technicians, artists, musicians, DJs and everyone who has followed us on this incredible journey, thank you!
Through this ‘big stage’, many remarkable artists found strength and support to grow into the world, and many international artists came to find rare moments of intimacy with their audience.
We believe that the way we offered an eclectic and comprehensive program contributed since day one to the identity of the neighborhood and the city - always with its doors open to everyone, always with a sense of inclusion and diversity.
Unfortunately, we were unable to renew the rental contract for the space we occupy. The tsunami of glitter that has flooded the city and disagreements regarding our landlady's interests put an end to this trip. It's human nature, it's business. The bitter aftertaste is not enough to change the memories of 25 incredible years at Rua da Moeda.
We still have a lot to offer you until the end of the year, so see you soon!
