This Sunday, 6th September is the Canterbury Blues Club Night and it’s gonna be an epic one!

3hrs of L O V E P E A C E ‘n’ B L U E S featuring:
• Billy Vallance • Steph & Rosanna • The Hannah Baard Blues Band

First up: Billy Vallance doesn’t do watered-down music. He plays raw blues and some of the sharpest harmonica work you’ll find in New Zealand. His sets feel like a trip straight through music history, shifting between the gritty, acoustic stomp of the Mississippi Delta and the plugged-in, driving groove of Chicago.

2nd up Steph McEwin & Rosanna Harvey — these girls can do it like nobody else. Stephanie McEwin brings acoustic guitar and powerful, soulful blues and jazz vocals — a real treat to hear. Rosanna Harvey is a guitarist extraordinaire, weaving from jazz to Hendrix with effortless flair. Guitar and vocals.
