Raw Comedy Quest happens all over the country, with winners from each local comp going to Tamaki Makaurau for a Grand Final!

It's for new comedians with 4 or less years of experience, and it's an incredible opportunity to help boost them closer to a career in comedy!

The 2025 Winner was Otautahi based comedian, Ben Vyas!

His win earned him a spot on the New Zealand Comedy Festival Gala when they came to Otautahi this year (First time in 10 years!)

A return to the stand-up stage for one of the capital’s finest.
Fergus Aitken plays in Christchurch with his first full show since the life-altering event of his son’s death last year.

This is going to be a refreshed selection of Fergus’s gold material, with a whole lotta recent musings and revelations, on life, death, joy and grief. Expect the usual blur of silliness with an attempt to include some new perspectives on what really matters, being alive.
