We're itching to fill these maß with rauchbier made with smoked manuka and French oak, schwarzbier and Concept lager (kinda close to a Munich Helles. 🤣). Today starts the official tapping of the kegs to start Oktoberfest in Munich, so grab a Stein of lager and a beer bratwurst to celebrate

Newly discovered box of maß (1 litre handle glass/stein) in the brewery and a new batch of the Concept Brewing lager on tap this weekend? Might as well throw some beer bratwurst into the mix for Saturday. We'll also have a couple of different bratwurst season beers on tap as well.

Another great Christchurch sunshine start to the week. Our $12 beer of the week is the unique Aliment Brewing Waimārama Wilding Ale 5.8% ABV | Made with a native NZ brewing yeast captured & cultivated by Froth Tench in Wellington. We also have Little Red Rooster back on tap and in cans.

No food trucks this week, though we are working on that 🙄. Our Volstead Cart menu will be available this week with hot chips, wedges, squid, and flatbreads.

We found a large box of Maß in the brewery the other week. It's also beer bratwurst season at the moment, so we might as well have a Brats & Maß Saturday 19/9. We'll throw in some helles-like pours, maybe a rauchbier and what-not. Details to follow 🍺🥨

Cockadoodledoo 🐓, the Volstead Little Red Rooster is back! Though there's no need to get up at sunrise to enjoy this gorgeous little red number. Stop by 55 Riccarton Rd for a pint, or grab some cans for the back porch this week. A beautiful red ale with delicious rich dried fruit, toffee, and honey flavors from the malts, balanced by herbal and citrus notes from the Nelson Sauvin, Pacifica, and Taiheke hops.
