Our weekly pool competition kicks off at 1:00 PM tomorrow. Please try to arrive by 1:00 o’clock sharp, as we’re expecting a big crowd and spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

After a fierce battle in last week's final, Nathan and "Colonel Sanders" are back and ready to defend their reputations. But with plenty of talented local players lining up for their shot, nothing is guaranteed!

This is the beauty of our Glenbyre Pool Competition. 🎱❤️

Today, 11-year-old Lucas took on 79-year-old Richard in a fantastic match that showed exactly what our competition is all about. Age is just a number when it comes to enjoying the game of pool.

Lucas played brilliantly and defeated Richard to reach the quarter-finals. There, he faced Malcolm, one of the premier players at our pub. Lucas gave Malcolm a real challenge in a hard-fought match, showing skill, confidence, and composure well beyond his years.

In the end, Malcolm managed to get the win, but Lucas earned the respect and admiration of everyone in the bar. The whole pub was cheering him on throughout the match.

We can all see that there is a future champion in the making. Well done, Lucas – your performance was outstanding, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself.

This is what Glenbyre Pool Competition is all about: bringing generations together, creating great memories, and celebrating the game we all love. 🏆🎱

What a day and what a final! 🎱🏆

Every player in today’s Glenbyre Pool Competition showed outstanding skill, but the final between Nathan and Colonel Sanders was something special.

It was a hard-fought battle from start to finish, with both players producing shots of the highest quality. The match had everyone in the bar glued to the action, and after an incredible contest, Nathan came out on top to claim the title.

Congratulations, Nathan! We laid down the challenge, and you answered it in style with a truly outstanding performance.

A big congratulations also to Colonel Sanders for a fantastic runner-up finish and for being part of such a memorable final.

With games of this quality, the Glenbyre Pool Competition is reaching a whole new level. Thank you to all 16 players and everyone who came along to support the event.
