Because when we look back at Rootz, we don’t really see a number. We see years of evenings, conversations, music, dinners, friendships, mistakes, discoveries, changes, people arriving as strangers and somehow becoming part of the place.
And we see how much we have grown with you.
Over the years, Rootz has changed without losing its soul. We have listened, experimented, learned and slowly widened what we offer: more vegetarian and vegan dishes, more alcohol-free choices, more fresh and healthy options, more ways for different people to sit at the same table and feel that there is something here for them.
That growth matters to us.
Not because we ever wanted Rootz to become bigger for the sake of being bigger, but because we wanted it to become richer, more open, more conscious, more alive.
A place where a beautiful bottle of Italian w**e can share the table with an alcohol-free cocktail.
Where street food can sit next to something fresh and nourishing.
Where vegans, vegetarians, w**e lovers, music lovers, travellers, locals, old friends and new faces can somehow all belong to the same strange little ecosystem.
And through all these years, one thing has remained at the centre of everything:
people.
The people who make this place go on everyday.
The people who play here.
The people who eat, drink, laugh, celebrate, talk, meet, return.
The people who recommended us to someone else.
The people who left us a kind word.
The people who chose Rootz for one night of their life, or for hundreds of them.
So today, more than celebrating 10 million views, we want to celebrate you.
