RIP Sonny Hughes 💙

The northside is in shock this evening at the news of Sonny’s passing.

An absolute gentleman, a legend and a character!!

I don’t think there is a child on the northside who didn’t get brought for spins on Sonny’s horse & cart down through the years.
He would collect Phil & Eddie on his horse & cart when they were young, they loved going with Sonny & they have fantastic memories with Sonny, as I’m sure every child around here has.

Sonny knew absolutely everyone, and saluted and greeted everyone by name, even if he hadn’t met you in some time, he always had your name at the tip of his tongue.

He loved horses, and took great care of them.

Our thoughts & prayers are with the Hughes Family at this time 🙏

RIP Sonny!! 🤍🐴

We are very saddened to hear of the sad passing of our friend Noel Barrett. Noel was an absolute gentleman. He was a customer of ours for a very long time, and it wasn’t long before he became a good friend of my mother Margarets, and Eamonn & I.
Noel was very fond of Philomena & Eddie, as were they of him.
Noel has many many friends here in Kinsella’s Bar, who are all heartbroken by the news.

Our thoughts are with Susan, Carey & the extended Barrett & Costelloe Families at this time.
