Sonny Molloy’s Whiskey Bar is renowned as one of Galway's most welcoming places to enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. With it's own distinctive character, Sonny Molloy's forms part of The Front Door Pub, accessible from the bustling entrance on High Street. Once a famous drapery shop it was run by well known Galwegian, Sonny Molloy and the counter of the bar is still the very same as when Sonny himself worked behind it! With beautiful old world architecture and original furnishings Sonny Molloy’s Bar is a lively local at the heart of the Galway community. The bar itself is brimming with cabinets and shelves of the finest Whiskey including the Famous Galway Bay Irish Whiskey

We also serve a delicious lunch and dinner menu based on traditional Irish flare with an international twist, catering for a range of dietary requirements. Our “Whiskey Tasting Experience” is rated as one of the best in town, we're also part of the much loved 'Galway Whiskey Trail' and our staff are trained in tailoring taster boards to suit every palate.
