This Sunday we’re really excited to be welcomed back into the hypnotic harmonics of the insanely talented Gabrielle Hunzinger with Filipé Massumi on cello and Daniel Webster on guitar

These guys absolutely took the roof off the place last time they played - absolutely spellbinding, ethereal, melodic and dramatic. Be here before 8pm to witness the magnificence of these guys

Something special is about to happen at Angel. 🎶

We’ve always wanted the Angel to be a place for live music. The refurb gave us the chance… a new stage, new sound system, and now we’re ready.

And we’re starting with one of the most extraordinary performers we’ve ever come across.

ICHI, from Nagoya, Japan, is a one-man universe. Handmade instruments you’ve never seen before. A Stilt-bass. A Kalilaphone. Balloon-pipes. Percussion-shoes. All played live, all at once, in a single short set.

Championed by David Byrne, Steve Lamacq and Lauren Laverne. Festivals from Glastonbury to Woodford to Fusion Berlin. To see ICHI is to witness something you genuinely haven’t seen before; playful, danceable, and strangely ancient all at once.

He’s played Glastonbury. He’s played Fusion Berlin. And now he’s playing the Angel 😇
