There are some true highlights to the bar business. One of which is getting to visit the people at Trenchmore Farm, producers of the excellent and Sussex Wagyu Beef. We had a tour of the farm, and they spoke with passion about what they do. Animal welfare, environmental, and ethical issues are very much at the forefront of their business.
The cyder is made with apples grown in their own orchard, blended with those donated from an apple swap and fermented on site. We tried the cider straight from the tanks at different stages of fermentation. Which was so interesting in understanding the process.
When you see the passion and care that goes into the product, it really makes you understand why we support local and buy our beers locally.
Plus, we can't forget the awesome hotdogs and homemade salads.
