End of an Era
It is with a heavy heart that we write this message to all our beloved customers who we now consider family after all the years in the pub together….
The gardeners Arms is officially closed for business…. It was a long hard tough decision….but one that had to be made by Maggie We all know the rumour mill can be fantastic in these situations however there is no story to tell here accept one of sadness & heart ache for Maggie.
Maggie & Mick worked so hard to get the pub up & running over 13 years ago…. Together they took on an almost derelict building and bought it back to life…. It was micks pride and joy and one that Maggie carried on for a further 6 years, It was not just a pub but a Community, we hosted weddings, christening, funerals, family & friends birthday parties & Christmas Day every year for over 10 years !!! No-one will forget our amazing Mick and customers who have gone before us, they will live on forever in our Hearts.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all our customers, staff & suppliers over the years, we will miss you…
They say all good things come to an end & it’s a great sadness for all of us as a family to close the doors! We will always keep the memories shared here & we hope you do to…

UPDATE- To all our wonderful customers we are sorry to announce the pub will no longer be serving food… we will all miss Maggie’s famous roast dinners & treacle sponge…… Thanks to everyone who have passed through & enjoyed the food with us over the last 13 years…. 🍽
