The sun was shining, the vibes were good and it was a taste of what’s to come this summer!

🌧️ The weather may have changed, but we take a look back at last month as we look forward at what’s to come…

🎵 Live Music from Beatroot, Dan Powell, The Masters of Rock and James Pacy & The Band kept the place grooving all month long! 🕺

👨‍🍳 The role:

- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Help maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and food safety compliance
- Lead and motivate the kitchen team when required

What we’re looking for:

- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
- Passion for fresh, quality food
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to perform under pressure

📢 IMPORTANT FESTIVAL UPDATE 📢

After carefully monitoring the weather forecasts and considering the safety of our visitors, volunteers, performers and stall holders, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Durrington Festival due to the forecast of high winds and heavy rain.

🌧️ Original Date: Saturday 6th June 2026
☀️ New Date: Saturday 27th June 2026

This was not a decision we took lightly, but the safety of everyone involved must come first.

The good news is that the festival isn't cancelled – it's simply moving to a new date! We are looking forward to bringing our community together on 27th June for what promises to be a fantastic day.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and continued support. Please keep an eye on our social media channels and website for further updates.
