We’ve got a cracking line-up on the hand pulls at Cocky Anchor right now…

🟡 LOCAL HAND PULL – The Teme Valley Brewery Talbot Blonde
A golden, hoppy ale with light biscuit malt flavours, balanced by Pilgrim and Minstrel hops. Fresh, fruity and wonderfully drinkable at 4.4%. A beer we’ve had before — and one that’s very welcome back! 🍻

🟠 GUEST HAND PULL – Hobsons Brewery Patient Number 9
This one deserves your attention! A light-golden ale with a beautifully balanced sweetness and bitterness, backed up by subtle citrus and floral notes. 🌸🍊

Last time we had Patient Number 9, the entire cask disappeared within 24 hours! 😳 So if you fancy trying this one, don’t hang around… although this time we’ve gone bigger and have THREE casks on, so there’s considerably more to go around!

🟢 MIDDLE PUMP – Anchor Ale
Our ever-present Anchor Ale is pouring nicely, with a crisp, refreshing character, zesty English hop aromas, soft fruit notes and a gentle hop bitterness. Easy drinking, perfectly balanced and just the sort of pint you can settle into. 🍺

Created by homebrew champion Stuart of stusbrewsuk , this award-winning SMASH beer was scaled up after taking Gold at the Homebrew Beer Awards for the second year running.

Brewed with Charles Faram & Co Ltd experimental CF243 hops and heritage Chevallier malt, expect delicious notes of orange marmalade, bright citrus, subtle herbs and rich malt sweetness.

After a few days of keeping you waiting… Patient Number 9 by Hobsons Brewery has officially arrived and is now ON THE BAR! 🔥

Inspired by the Prince of Darkness himself, this 4.3% light golden ale is beautifully balanced with a gentle bitterness, a touch of sweetness, and subtle citrus and floral notes, making it an easy-drinking pint with plenty of character. (Hobsons Brewery⁠)

So… what have we been working on? 👀

Let’s just say our wine selection is about to get even more exciting, and our wine tasting experiences are evolving in ways we can’t wait to share with you.

We’re keeping the cork firmly in the bottle for now… but not for much longer. 🍾
