⚓️ NEW GUEST ALE ALERT: SEAFURY ⚓️
Looking for a fantastic new pint to try this week? Our guest ale is the brilliant Seafury!
Aside from tasting incredible, the name itself comes from a legendary piece of British engineering.
✈️ The History Behind the Name:
The original Sea Fury was a 1940s fighter plane designed by Hawker Aircraft. Originally built for the RAF as the "Fury," the design was adapted for the Royal Navy’s aircraft carriers. Following standard military naming rules—where naval versions of land planes got a "Sea" prefix (just like the Spitfire became the Seafire)—the Sea Fury was born.
It went on to become one of the fastest, most powerful propeller-driven aircraft ever built. Rugged, iconic, and full of character—just like the pint in your hand.
Come grab a glass this week and toast to a bit of history. Cheers! 🍻
