No rear beer garden this afternoon…. But the front beer garden is feeling toasty!

And our hot snack menu is available from 5pm, while stocks last!

Of course we are doing Windmill Bakery cobs, pork pies, sausage rolls and scotch eggs 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Ohhh now this is a bit of us!!

Pretty much all of our team have had a go at washing the teatowels! Thanks Lionesses 🥰🥰

But…. Hills Press Wombourne does laundry as well as ironing…… we are over the moon! We now have a weekly collection and delivery of our teatowels!

We are absolutely chuffed to bits! It’s saved us hours and the price point is 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Thanks Victoria! New routine with you guys now established! 🥰

We can’t wait for Wombourne Parish Council to call in! Hopefully by 10th July, our planters, lavender border and hanging baskets will be blooming lovely!

We love being part of the community and adding to the florals in Wombourne!

Being a freehouse, means we choose what drinks we have on, when we do food and what our prices are!

So when a customer asks for rhubarb gin… of course we can add it to our stock list…………..

If there’s a brand or product, food or drink you’d love to see added to our menu, just ask! All reasonable requests are considered!

And no, we don’t have Bathams yet…. But we will keep asking 😂😘

Tuesday is always hosted by the fantastic Wombourne Run Club!

Leaving the pub at 7pm, they have 3 run routes available, and boat loads of chatter as they go!

Warm up with The Run Club and Cool down here at the Red! Feel free to leave your keys and personals with us, and of course, WC and parking is free for all runners!

One good turn deserves another! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

One of our team, had to visit Russell’s Hall hospital today…. There were no injuries at work 🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑🚑

But….every car park was full and the queue to get into the car parks were backed up along the main road.

The King William Dudley pub, had some free car parking spaces, so our team nipped in, offered to buy a drink or make a donation to charity…. And the staff there wouldn’t have it…. They said, please use our car park, it’s no problem!

Hospitality is a dying art and sometimes that community feel can be lacking! But not today!

Our team went back after the hospital visit and left a couple of pints in for the next two customers! We were more than happy to support a pub, than line the pockets of the car park company (apparently none of the car park money, goes back into the NHS).

If you’re not sure where they are, it’s almost opposite the dino guy, but definitely worth supporting if you need a car parking space and can manage a couple of minutes walk! Or even a good place to wait, if you need to drop someone off!
