A huge thank you to everyone who helped make Wednesday’s Poppy Relay Day at The Royal Oak so special ❤️
A special thank you to Tony and Clive for their wonderful exhibition about the First World War and the local men who served. It was a fascinating tribute to their stories and sacrifices.
Thanks to Andy and all the open mic guys and girls for keeping us entertained with some fantastic music, to Keith for his amazing grey peas, and to Patrick for putting together a fun but challenging quiz. The quiz winners will be contacted directly over the weekend.
Thank you to Jonnie for organising a great evening of darts—and congratulations to the away team on taking the win! A big thank you as well to Sue, who worked behind the bar all day.
And we mustn’t forget our Blood Bikers, Eamon and David, who carried the poppy to the Oak and safely moved it on to its next stop.
