Unfortunately, due to the ongoing unplanned power cut in the local area, AKA Restaurant & Lounge will be CLOSED for the remainder of this evening, Saturday 8th August.
We sincerely apologise to everyone who was planning to dine with us or order a takeaway tonight. Unfortunately, the situation is completely beyond our control, and without power we are unable to operate safely.

Unfortunately, due to an unplanned power cut in the local area, our dine-in service at AKA Restaurant & Lounge is currently affected. #

OUR KITCHEN STILL HAS POWER & TAKEAWAY SERVICE REMAINS OPEN!

We will continue preparing takeaway orders as normal while the power cut is being resolved.

UK Power Networks currently estimates that full power will be restored between 7pm–8pm tonight (Saturday 8th August).

⚡️ SERVICE UPDATE FROM AKA RESTAURANT

Dear AKA guests,

We wanted to let you know that we are currently experiencing a partial power cut at the restaurant.
UK Power Networks has confirmed that the issue is related to an underground electricity cable fault, and their engineers are currently on site working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Thankfully, our kitchen still has power, so we are able to continue operating, although our service is currently limited and may be slower than usual.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and really appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support while the engineers work to get everything back to normal. ❤️
